Allergies and food intolerances are increasingly common. Skin reactions, chronic runny nose, digestive complaints and general unwellness are among the typical symptoms.
Even small amounts of certain substances trigger over-reactions of the immune system. A combination of environmental burdens, disturbed intestinal flora and chronic irritation of the mucous membranes is considered a frequent cause.
Precise laboratory diagnostics provide detailed information on food antibodies, inflammation parameters and the composition of intestinal flora. Based on the findings, measures to regulate the immune system, to restore the gut and to relieve metabolism are used.
A case report from the practice
A patient in her early forties with hay fever (pollinosis): blood and stool analysis revealed deficiencies and an intestinal flora that had lost its balance. She was willing to adjust her diet gently, received suitable supplements to compensate for the nutrient deficiencies, probiotics selected specifically for her and supportive substances for the microbiome, as well as acupuncture. According to her own account, her hay fever symptoms are considerably milder than before and she can enjoy spring and summer again.
Case examples are not a blueprint for a therapy. Every person is different, and various causes can lie behind any symptom. Illnesses must be assessed by a doctor.
