When does a check-up make sense?
Why a check-up?
Many complaints such as tiredness, poor concentration or lack of drive are connected with your supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. A blood count makes visible where you stand and gives me a sound basis for discussing with you what to pay attention to.
Frequently asked questions
What does a health check-up cost?
Depending on its scope, the laboratory package costs between 50 € (Eco) and 210 € (First +). In addition there are 30 € for the preliminary consultation, 20 € for the blood draw and the evaluation consultation (70 to 120 € depending on the time required).
Does statutory health insurance cover the cost?
The check-ups are an individual preventive service for self-payers. Statutory insurers generally do not cover them; I am happy to issue a receipt for private insurance or public-sector assistance.
Do I have to come fasting for the blood draw?
For meaningful values (e. g. blood sugar) it makes sense to come fasting, eating nothing for around 8 to 12 hours beforehand; water is fine. I will give you the details when we arrange the appointment.
How long does the appointment take?
The blood draw itself takes only a few minutes; allow around 15 to 20 minutes including a short conversation.
When do I receive my results?
The laboratory results are usually available within a few working days. I then discuss them with you in the evaluation consultation.
